  • Time Of The Signs

    $16.99

“What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” –Matthew 24:3

The disciples could not wait. Christ had said He would bring an end to human rule and establish His kingdom. But when? Eager to learn how the future would unfold, they asked Him about the signs of His coming and the end times. What should they expect to take place?

In The Time of the Signs, pastor Barry Stagner explores the events that will precede Christ’s return. As he describes Earth’s final days, he answers the many questions people ask, including:

*Why is the rebirth of Israel the most significant sign that the end times are near?

*What other important clues, evident today, reveal the closeness of the tribulation and Christ’s return?

*Where does the rapture fit in the chronology of all that will occur in the last days?

*After Christ returns, what is next?

As you study the signs Jesus foretold, you’ll see amazing evidence that we are living in the very time of these signs–and gain a clear understanding of what will happen, and when.

  • Can I Borrow A Cup Of Hope

    $15.99

When the pain and problems of life barge in, hopes and dreams run out. In these uncertain seasons of personal crisis, national chaos, and global catastrophe, it’s easy to wonder if life will ever be anything but sorrow and despair.

The apostle Peter knows exactly what it’s like when hope is gone. He watched as the Messiah was arrested, crucified, and buried. And Peter himself failed almost every test of his faith, even with Christ right in front of him. But he also knows that God is faithful and true, carrying us through our harshest suffering and redeeming our heaviest regrets. Bible teacher, author, and speaker Amy Lively dives into Peter’s first epistle, a short letter with a lot of power, to light the way for today’s struggling Christian. In this daily Bible study, she guides readers through the beautiful story of Peter and shows how he embodies the way to set our hope fully in Christ alone. With gentle honesty and a touch of helpful humor, Amy helps readers understand that when it feels like the end of the world to them, it’s just the beginning of the power of Jesus.

  • Signs And Secrets Of The Messiah

    $26.99

Are you or someone you love desperate for a miracle? As witnessed through Scripture, the God who was and is and is to come has been performing miracles from the beginning of time–so you can trust that Jesus wants to do something miraculous in your life today.

In this follow-up to his book Mysteries of the Messiah, Rabbi Jason Sobel dives deep into Scripture, biblical culture, and ancient texts to help you better understand the truths and the power behind God’s miracles, and to increase your faith that Jesus can perform miracles in your life.

By taking a deeper look at Yeshua’s miracles, Rabbi Jason reveals promises for all Christ followers based on miracles throughout Scripture:

*Jesus takes the ordinary and turns it into something extraordinary, because He wants you to live out of His overflow (He turned water into wine).

*Jesus wants to renew you so that He can do something new in you (He revealed to Nicodemus the miracle of rebirth).

*You can stop wandering aimlessly or feeling stuck in your current situation, but instead experience abundant life and healing (He healed the man at the Pool of Bethesda).

*God wants to bless you abundantly so you, in turn, can bless others and sow into His kingdom (Jesus multiplied the loaves and fish).

As you go on this journey with Rabbi Jason, a Messianic Jew, he is praying that God will lead you to new insights and breakthroughs in your life. And as God reveals Himself to you in a fresh and powerful way, you will be filled with a sense of His presence and shalom.

  • 3 In One

    $9.99

The question, ‘What is God like?’, is always one that will provoke discussion and debate. To get an answer, there are two possible approaches. 1. The best scenario would be for God to tell us what He is like. That would save a lot of conjecture and give us an accurate answer. 2. We could use the evidence we have available to establish that God exists, and then try to ascertain what type of being He is, how He thinks, and how He operates. This second approach has severe limitations as we are restricted by the sum total of human experience (assuming that it has been recorded and retained accurately). Also, our results will be very subjective as we will end up describing God in terms that we have chosen. They may not be accurate. This could ultimately be defined as personal speculation. I suggest that the first approach is available to us in the holy book we call the Bible. We are not left to our own personal speculations about God, for we can learn from the revelation which God has given about Himself in His book. It is, therefore, important for us to consider why we should accept that the Bible is in reality God’s message to the human race, and that it has supernatural authorship. If it is just another ‘holy book’ written by men, then it is only another form of speculation. This will be the subject of Chapter 1 which I hope you will read carefully.

  • Tell Her Story

    $24.00

Women were there. For centuries, discussions of early Christianity have focused on male leaders in the church. But there is ample evidence right in the New Testament that women were actively involved in ministry, at the frontier of the gospel mission, and as respected leaders.

Nijay Gupta calls us to bring these women out of the shadows by shining light on their many inspiring contributions to the planting, growth, and health of the first Christian churches. He sets the context by exploring the lives of first-century women and addressing common misconceptions, then focuses on the women leaders of the early churches as revealed in Paul’s writings. We discover the major roles of people such as:

    *Phoebe, Paul’s trusted coworker
*Prisca, strategic leader and expert teacher
    *Junia, courageous apostle
*Nympha, representative of countless lesser-known figures

When we understand the world in which Jesus and his followers lived and what the New Testament actually attests about women in the churches, it becomes clear that women were active participants and trusted leaders all along. They were welcomed by Paul and other apostles, were equipped and trained for ministry leadership, instructed others, traveled long distances, were imprisoned-and once in a while became heroes and giants.

The New Testament writers tell their stories. It’s time for the church to retell them, again and again.

  • Father And His Family

    $16.99

There are two great questions that we all must eventually ask:

    *Why were we born?
*What must we do to inherit eternal life?

Legendary Bible teacher E. W. Kenyon tackles these questions head-on as he explains why God created us and what He has done to ensure our place at His side in The Father and His Family: The Story of Our Redemption.

Mankind was never created on a whim. Instead, we were destined to be the Father’s beloved children before the foundation of the world. When we fell, God created a way to bring us back to Himself.

“The entire plan of redemption is a revelation of the heart hunger and loneliness of the great Father God,” Kenyon says. “Christianity is not a religion; it is a family, a Father and His children.”

God gave Adam dominion and authority over the earth, which man squandered by questioning the Lord and disobeying him. In this manner, Adam turned over his rights to Satan.

“When he turned that vast kingdom over into the hands of Satan, it was a legal transference,” Kenyon explains. “It was so legal that God was obliged to recognize its legality, and the only way that God could meet the issue was to send His beloved Son down out of heaven to suffer the penalty of Adam’s transgression.”

Presenting profound truths simply yet eloquently, Kenyon covers the reason for creation, man’s treason, the dominion of death, man’s need for a mediator, the family of God, and related topics.

Gain a greater understanding of God’s Word, His love for you, and your rights as His beloved child.

  • 20 Questions Jesus Asked

    $10.00

We usually think of Jesus as preaching and teaching, but throughout the gospels he is often asking questions – searching enquiries, that disarm the hearers into responding unreservedly and provide some of the most profound lessons in the New Testament.

But what were the questions that Jesus asked? And how can we learn from them today?
Twenty Questions Jesus Asked explores just that. Over four distinct sections, John Pritchard explores twenty of Jesus’ conversations by imagining the experience of those being questioned and reflecting on their significance for us as modern Christians.

With contemporary stories, questions for reflection and prayer exercises, Twenty Questions Jesus Asked is a brilliant book for both individual and small group use. With his characteristic grounded thoughtfulness, John Pritchard guides us through Jesus’ questions and helps us better understand the lessons he was trying to impart, so that we can grow as disciples and apply Jesus’ wisdom to every day life.

  • Strange Scriptures : Deciphering 52 Weird, Bizarre, And Curious Verses From

    $19.99

    What’s that Scripture mean?

Ever asked yourself this question when you’re reading through the Bible? We all have. Whether we’ve been saved a long time or are just beginning to follow Christ, there are portions of Scripture that go over our heads. They’re puzzling. Odd. Complicated. Strange.

*What’s baptism on behalf of the dead? (1 Corinthians 15:29)
*Wasn’t it rude for Jesus to call a woman a dog? (Mark 7:27)
*If Jesus is eternal, why is he called the firstborn? (Colossians 1:15)
*How can we do greater works than Christ? (John 14:12)

Scriptures like these are not preached from the pulpit as commonly as our favorite texts. You rarely hear about them in your small group Bible study. And it’s definitely not easy to explain what they mean.

Think of it like this: if the Bible were an apple orchard, the Scriptures we’re most familiar with are like the luscious Honey Crisp. They’re our favorites. Like, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and “Love never fails.” Oh, the meaning and relevant application from these just gushes forth into our lives.

But strange Scriptures are more like crabapples. Consider this one: “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment” (2 Peter 2:4). Not quite a Honey Crisp, is it? There’s juice in it, all right, but if you want meaning and life application, you have to do a whole lot more squeezing.

That’s where Strange Scriptures comes in. Within each short study, author Chris Palmer has aimed to represent scholarship, Greek exegesis, and life application to bring forth a full-bodied study to nourish your soul.

  • Knowing Me Knowing God

    $13.99

In the Bible, God gives us knowledge of himself and of ourselves, so that through these two intertwined strands we may receive what Calvin called ‘true and sound wisdom’. In pursuit of this wisdom, many Christians have learned to interpret Scripture chrono-logically, following the Bible’s developing story from creation, through fall, to redemption, and ultimately to restoration. But what of a complementary theo-logical approach to Scripture, one which focuses on the Bible’s main ‘characters’ ? God and human beings ? and the nature of their relationship? Richard Brash presents such an approach, introducing six theological keys to Scripture which help us better to know God and ourselves in the three fundamental areas of being, knowing, and acting. At each stage, he develops the theme of the gracious condescension of the infinite, incomprehensible, and holy God in his relation to finite human beings: creating us as his image, establishing a proportion between his own knowledge and ours, and overcoming sin to take a people for himself through the love-gifts of his Son and his Spirit. If you are looking for an enlarged vision of God and a renewed understanding of your own vocation before the Lord, take up this book and be refreshed in your love for God in heart, soul, and mind.

Along the way, the reader will encounter adventure, history, theology, advice for practical Christian living, and become acquainted with some of the more fascinating personalities of the early church.

The author of each book has his own style, his own emphasis, and his own story that is part of the larger story of Jesus Christ and the redemption he purchased for us on Calvary two thousand years ago.

Some of the topics covered here include:
*Prophetical insights from believers of various backgrounds on the book of Revelation.
*The hotly contested miracle of Jesus turning water into wine.
*Judas, his betrayal of Christ, and how and when he died

  • Last Great Outpouring

    $19.99

After four hundred years of prophetic silence, God sent John the Baptist to announce the coming of the Messiah, the baptism He would bring, and the in-breaking of the kingdom of God on earth. In response, people streamed to the Jordan River to hear John’s words and be baptized by him in the Jewish ritual mikveh bath for cleansing from sin and defilement. John’s calling was to prepare the people for the coming glory.

Our God is nothing if not consistent-the same yesterday, today and forever. As in the days leading to the return of Jesus, He therefore continues to send messengers in advance to announce coming moves of the Spirit in order to prepare His people to receive. Author R. Loren Sandford believes God is about to do something huge, wonderful, and even unprecedented in scope and impact, and he is urging Christians everywhere to prepare for it.

Beginning with the prophet Haggai and moving through the Bible, Loren lays a foundation for his belief that the time of the last great outpouring and the Lord’s return is now.

He writes, “The church in our day has been ravaged and diminished in influence under pressure from the idolatrous culture that surrounds us and that, figuratively speaking, a remnant is even now returning from exile. It’s time to rebuild on a biblical foundation and construct a temple adequate to contain the outpouring God is about to send.”

Loren says we must reject our present culture, which is steeped in consumerism and a focus on self, and return to a culture of covenant. The former has weakened and destroyed us, while the latter will edify and strengthen us.

As John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah to prepare the way, prophetic voices are now rising to proclaim that the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit in history is coming. The great last days’ move of God approaches and the call for preparation now is the same as John preached so long ago. Through reliable prophetic voices, God now cries for holiness and cleansing to uproot everything in ourselves and in our churches not solidly rooted in the nature of Jesus and the Father.

  • Greek Word Study

    $26.99

“Flour. Sheep. Coins. Wheat. Jesus never abandoned the familiarity of His time because what He had to say was so celestial or deep. Instead, He took advantage of what people already understood. In doing so, He didn’t just leave a way of salvation for us, but also a pattern of teaching to follow. This alone was my inspiration for how I chose to write Greek Word Study.”–author Chris Palmer

In a follow-up to his highly acclaimed book Letters from Jesus: Studies from the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Rev. Chris Palmer has written Greek Word Study: 90 Ancient Words That Unlock Scripture. With wit, humor, grace, and scholarship, Chris offers biblical insights while teaching Koine Greek words and phrases one delightful bite at a time. Unlike other books that overwhelm readers with Greek grammar, word formation, tenses, and the like, Chris makes the language accessible to anyone, using modern stories and analogies that engage readers and draw them into the Scriptures. Learning some Greek words and phrases helps you read the Bible in high definition!

“You don’t need to be scholar to read this book and you don’t need to know an ounce of Greek either. In fact, you don’t even have to really know much about the Bible at all,” Chris says. “All you need to do is just kick back and enjoy.”

  • Letters From Jesus

    $19.99

“In Revelation 2:2, Jesus tells the church in Ephesus something intimate-Google Street View intimate. He says, ‘I know your works’ (Oida ta erga sou). Four words don’t seem like much, but in the Greek, it packs a punch…. Jesus chooses the Greek word oida, which expresses total, comprehensive knowledge. It is intimate knowledge that comes from being up close and personal. This knowledge isn’t hazy on the details. It doesn’t struggle to remember. It preserves the particulars. In the mind’s eye, everything is sharp and clear, like a well-taken photograph.” -Chris Palmer

Letters from Jesus: Studies from the Seven Churches of Revelation explores Christ’s warnings to the seven most prominent churches in Asia Minor in the book of Revelation. These letters date back to 95 A.D., but they help us make a fascinating discovery about civilization: life hasn’t changed that much over the last two millennia.

Author Chris Palmer illustrates the truths contained in the Letters from Jesus using modern, everyday day examples. The host of the popular podcast Greek for the Week, he unpacks Greek words and phrases in these verses from Revelation with humor, joy, and biblical scholarship.

Why study Greek, even just a little bit? As Chris explains, looking at the New Testament in the original language in which it was written can offer us some beautiful insights into God’s Word. “It’s like reading the Bible in high definition,” he says. Also, “studying God’s Word in the original language forces us to approach it with reverence and awe, humbling ourselves to obey what it says, whether it’s something we want to hear or not.”

  • Why Did Jesus Have To Die

    $8.00

For many people, the crucifixion of Jesus by the Romans is just another tragic fact of history – a cruel travesty of justice, perhaps, but nothing more. But for Christians the death of Jesus has a much deeper and far-reaching significance. Jane Williams examines the reasons why Jesus’ death was seen by his first followers as nothing less than the demonstration of God’s love for his creation, and the means by which we all can find forgiveness and redemption, both now and in the world to come.

  • Alleged Errors Of The Bible Abridged

    $27.00

“How many angels were at the empty tomb?”
“Did God or Satan cause King David to sin?”
“If the Bible is God’s Word, then why are there so many contradictions in it?”

Questions like these have been heard many times by those seeking to share their faith. The average believer may not always know the answer for every accusation made about the reliability of Scripture. After seeing a pamphlet circulating at a local parish listing several supposed self-contradictions in Scripture, John Haley made it his life’s work to address every known discrepancy or alleged biblical contradiction he could find. In this abridged version of Alleged Discrepancies of the Bible, Haley directly addresses these questions and many other misunderstandings of Scripture. Haley directly addresses the origin of Bible discrepancies, disagreements in doctrine regarding the nature of the triune God and of mankind, and then takes on historical references of people, places, and dates. By shedding light on these disputed passages and convincingly disproving the claims of skeptics, Haley lifts the mystery surrounding the Bible and instills confidence in the believer’s reliance on God’s written Word.
