Legend Of The Candy Cane 25 Pack
$4.25Long ago there were two villages in a distant land. One was in a valley, and one was on a mountaintop. The people in the mountain village wanted to give each person in the valley a Christmas gift.
So the mountain townspeople formed a committee to think of something special. Money was limited, and each gift had to be of equal value to each person. After much time and discussion a decision was finally reached. The town’s candymaker, an elderly gentleman who had loved Jesus for many years, came up with an idea–the candy cane.
Now, you may be thinking, what is so special about a candy cane–and how can it ever be tied in with the real meaning of Christmas? Continue reading to find out how and why!
1. The candy cane is in the shape of a shepherd’s staff. Jesus is our Shepherd, and we are his flock. A sheep follows his own shepherd, knows his voice, trusts him, and knows that he is totally safe with him. The sheep will follow no other shepherd than their own. In the same way, if we belong to Jesus, we are to follow only him. (John 10:11; Psalm 23:1; Isaiah 40:11)
2. The candy cane has a “J” shape–the first letter of Jesus’s name. In the Bible, an angel came to Mary, the mother of Jesus, and said, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus” (Luke 1:30-31).
3. The wide red stripes on the candy cane represent the blood Jesus shed on the cross for each one of us so that we can have eternal life through him. He restores us and cleans us with his shed blood–the only thing that can wash away our sin (Ephesians 2:13).
4. The white stripes on the candy cane represent Jesus’s virgin birth and his pure, sinless life. He is the only human being who never committed a single sin, even though he was tempted just as we are. “He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth” (1 Peter 2:22).
5. The narrow red stripes on candy canes symbolize Jesus’s stripes, or scars, which he got when he was arrested and whipped. The Bible says we are healed (of sin) because he took those wounds (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24).
6. The flavoring in the candy cane is peppermint, which is similar to hyssop. Hyssop is of the mint family and was used in Old Testament times for purification and sacrifice (John 19:29; Psalm 51:7).
7. Candy canes are made of hard candy to remind us that Christ is the “rock” of our salvation. “He [Christ] alone is my rock and

Greatest Hero 25 Pack
$4.47Have you ever noticed how often books and movies tell stories about heroes who defeat evil and save the world?
Think about Superman. He comes into the world as a baby, and when he grows up, although he looks like a normal human, he uses all his power to rid the world of evil.
Think about Anna from Frozen. She sacrifices her own life?even for people who don’t deserve it. As a result, her love brings the warmth of life to a frozen world.
And think about Frodo from The Lord of the Rings. He left his home to go on an adventure, and in great weakness carries the burden of evil, even if it kills him. Why? To save the world.
It’s like we humans write these stories because deep down, we all know what we really need. The human race needs someone?to help us, love us, and rescue us.
Someone like Jesus.
Really? “Someone like Jesus”? How do superheroes point to Jesus?
The Bible teaches that Jesus came to earth to clean up and conquer the evil that had spread throughout the world and corrupted human life.
Don’t just take my word for it. You should meet Jesus by listening to his own words. But prepare yourself: He made some pretty intense statements.
Jesus declared he could give people true life (John 5:21-29; 6:35). Jesus told people that he could forgive sins (Mark 2:1-12; Luke 7:48-49). And Jesus even claimed to have the authority of God (Matthew 28:18; John 17:2).
What kind of person would make these kinds of huge claims?
According to C. S. Lewis (author of The Chronicles of Narnia), you’ve basically got three options.
Option 1: Jesus Is Lying
Think about the strong statements that Jesus made about himself. Anyone could say that he had all authority. Anyone could just tell people that he could give them true life or forgiveness. But he’d be lying.
Yet Jesus did more than merely talk. He calmed storms?something only God can do (Mark 4:35-41). He healed people that no one else could help (Mark 5:1-20). And he raised people from the dead (Mark 5:21-43). Jesus proved his words with his actions! So Option 1 isn’t really an option.
Option 2: Jesus Is Insane
Some people might say that Jesus wasn’t lying but that he went around making wild statements. The world is full of crazy people. What if Jesus meant well but was actually out of his mind?
But Jesus did more than make incredible statements about who he was. He also gave lots of brilliant teaching (Matthew 5-7; 10; 13; 18; 23-25). People were amazed by what he taught

How To Become A Christian 25 Pack
$4.25The central theme of the Bible’s New Testament is God’s love for you as an individual. This love was revealed through Christ’s coming into the world and living among humankind, and through his dying on the cross and rising from the dead. By Christ’s death, God offers you forgiveness for your sins, and by his resurrection, the promise of everlasting life.
Christ died and rose again for the whole world, but for you to become a Christian is an individual matter. The only way to establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is to accept his offer of forgiveness and everlasting life. The following Scriptures show God’s part and yours. Read each verse and believe it, for it is the Word of God speaking to you.
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Greatest Chapter In The Bible
$4.25The Greatest Chapter in the Bible
Adapted from Why I Love the Apostle Paul by John Piper
By John Piper
The greatest chapter in the Bible is Romans 8. Why? Because Romans 8 spells out all that God is for us in his Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 8:32 says, “He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” What are the great obstacles between us and everlasting happiness? One obstacle is our sin. We are all sinners (Rom. 3:23), and the wages of that sin is eternal death (Rom. 6:23). Another obstacle is the wrath of God. If God is justly wrathful toward us in our sinful guilt, then we have no hope of everlasting happiness.
When Paul calls Jesus God’s own Son, the point is that there are no others like him, and he is infinitely precious to the Father. The point of Romans 8:32 is that this love of God for his one and only Son was like a massive, Mount Everest obstacle standing between God and our salvation. Here was an obstacle almost insurmountable. Could God-would God-overcome his cherishing, admiring, treasuring, white-hot, infinite, affectionate bond with his Son and hand him over to be lied about and betrayed and denied and abandoned and mocked and flogged and beaten and spit on and nailed to a cross and pierced with a sword, like an animal being butchered and hung up on a rack?
The unthinkable reality that Romans 8:32 affirms is that God did it. He did hand him over. God did not spare him. In this passage Paul is saying the most unthinkable thing: God handed over his Son to death. “This Jesus [was] delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God” (Acts 2:23). God himself handed over his Son. Nothing greater or harder has ever happened. Or ever will.
Therefore, God has done the hardest thing to give us everlasting happiness. He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all. What does this guarantee? Paul puts it in the form of a rhetorical question (that means a question he expects us to immediately answer correctly): “how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” “All things” is not a promise of a trouble-free life. Four verses later Paul says, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” (Rom. 8:36) Instead, “all things” means all things we need to be eternally happy in God. Since God did not spare his own Son, all things will work together for our good (8:28), we wil

Anger Pamphlet : Aim It In The Right Direction
$3.99“God, why did you let this happen to me?”
The death of a spouse, the betrayal of a friend, and the disability of a child are often so painful that we want to blame God. We all have times of anger, disappointment, and frustration. But when we aim that anger at God, we end up feeling empty, frustrated, and lost. Our anger can either destroy us with self-pity, or God can use it to make us joyful.
The topics of anger and bitterness are issues that author, Joni Eareckson Tada, can speak to personally: A diving accident in 1967, when she was 17, left her a quadriplegic. She has lived 45 years in a wheelchair and has experienced her share of ups and downs. “But,” she says, “oh, the difference the grace of God has made in my life.” The key is to aim the anger in the right direction.
Let Joni tell you her secrets to peace and joy, despite her wheelchair. She has spent decades studying the Word of God. She knows that God does not enjoy seeing your pain and frustration. He has compassion for you and gives you many ways to deal with life so that you can have peace. She has taken her most important insights on turning anger into joy (not bitterness) and encapsulated them into this 14-page pamphlet. Whether you or a loved one is suffering, this pamphlet will bring you some help to break free from the strangle hold of anger.
We can find freedom from the bondage of anger. Joni has been there and she shows the way using biblical principles.
