A Companionable Way prepares minds, bodysouls, and hearts for demanding inner work required for peaceable encounters with integrity across interreligious and intercultural difference toward an expressive delight able to companion the suffering of self and others. Unmet yearnings and the unconscious refusal of deep feeling need redress, not only within analytical habits of mind, after all, but also in new communal “containers”–in this case, webs of spiritual friendship and circle-way communities of practice.
