Core Christianity : The Tie That Binds

Core Christianity deals with one of the most urgent issues facing Fundamentalism today-“If two churches agree upon what is essential even while they differ over non-essentials, perhaps there is something biblical about their getting on with a visible demonstration of unity under the Lordship of Christ.” The author examines both the historical and biblical witness to essential Christianity. With that as foundation, he revisits key Scripture passages that have been applied to the issue of ecclesiastical separation, and prescribes a scriptural test of fellowship for independent, evangelical churches that are willing to revisit and reform their understanding and application of biblical separation.
