Good Things : Seeing Your Life Through The Lens Of Gods Favor

There are no quotas limiting God’s grace or favor…and both last for a lifetime.

The Bible’s Psalm 30:5 reads, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime…” When most people hear the word “favor” associated with God, they assume that it is like a frequent flyer program that can be tapped into once you have logged enough miles on “faith and works” airlines. The reality, however, is that God’s favor is a product of His grace-where common people become recipients of His extravagant goodness. Favor is not based on “who we are” but on “whose we are” and is experienced in life even when it’s not deserved. And the most wonderful part of all: God’s favor is forever.
