In this moving sequence of poetry and prose, Terry Waite recalls the highs and lows of his life, both during his ordeal as a hostage and in the happier years of humanitarian work that have followed. In doing so he gives us a glimpse into the depths of faith, hope and love that sustained him through his time of suffering.
