Promises Of God

David told us in Psalm 145:13b, “The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.” This daily devotional contains a different promise of God for each day of the year, with a special promise for each holiday that is not date specific (373 daily readings). The promise is followed by an illustration (most from the life of the author) and an explanation/ discussion of the promise. Each day’s devotional reading closes with a verse of an old hymn. All Scripture is taken from the NIV translation, with both the biblical reference and the Scripture written out in full each time a reference is made to a biblical passage in the daily reading. This prevents the distraction of looking up Bible passages during the daily reading. The Promises of God will give you inspiration, pause for thought, peace, strength for the day, and a deeper relationship with God.
