Joshua : Ruler High Priest And Commander Of Gods Army

Joshua, whose name means “Jesus” in Greek and “Yahweh is Salvation” in Hebrew, took God’s people into their promised inheritance, the land of Israel. God used Moses to take His people out of bondage and slavery via the Red Sea into the wilderness experience. This pointed to the Red Sea of Christ’s blood that saved all from the bondage of slavery and sin. Joshua showed God’s people the way into their inheritance and reward in the Promised Land. Moses never had to fight a battle, but God trained up Joshua to be a mighty warrior who would conquer the Promised Land and give His people their promised inheritance. Joshua pointed to Jesus, the Commander of God’s earthly and heavenly army, who would bring His people to victory in spiritual warfare, capture the land for Him, and give us our reward of eternal life with Him in the heavenly Promised Land. Together Moses and Joshua represent the finished work of Jesus/Yeshua. This book is written to open up the eternal truths hidden within the book of Joshua that pointed to the True Joshua Jesus/Yeshua.
