Romanian couple Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand spoke out boldly for Christ amidst the Communist persecution, and formed an underground church. This led to the Wurmbrands’ imprisonment and unthinkable horror at the hands of the Communists. After finally being ransomed out of Romania, the Wurmbrands dedicated themselves to helping the world understand the atrocities occurring behind the iron curtain, and started the now world-famous ministry “The Voice of the Martyrs”.
